    UPI - President Kennedy sent to the Senate today the nomination of George A. Bayer of Nome to be U.S. Marshal for Alaska.
    Bayer, 49 now is clerk of the Superior Court of Alaska for the second district and deupty clerk of the U. S. District Court of Alaska.
    He was chief deputy U.S. marshal at Nome from 1944 unitl early last year. Bayer will draw $10,985 a year as U.S. marshal.
