    Pierre, merchant from the parish of Loyse, delivered 200 sickles on the feast of Saint Jean-Baptiste to Claude Bailly, resident of Tourouve. Bailly had ordered them on 11 February 1640. Notory Jacques Douaire of Tourouve prepared the receipt.

    Before notary Romain Becquet, Pierre sold a piece of land to Jean Talon for the purpose of building a road from Beauport to Charlesbourg. The land was 76 perches by 18 feet. For payment Pierre received a concession of 40 arpents of land in the new Bourg-Royal and 40 livres.

    Notary Romain Becquet drew up a will for Pierre who was ill at the Hotel-Dieu-de-Quebec. He gave 20 livres to the hospital; 20 livres to the Chapel of the Jesuit fathers; 20 livres to the church of Beauport.

    Pierre's son-in-law, Guillaume Baucher, purchased his Beauport property.

    Died:
    70 years old at time of death.
