    He aquired land consisting of two arpents in frontage on the river with a depth of twenty arpents. Jean sold this property to Julien Quentin on 20 September 1654.

    He purchased a piece of land with an arpent and a half of frontage by about twn in depth, situated between Grande-Allee and the river. The price was 400 livres. On the same day he sold the land for 700 livres to Charles Roger des Colombiers. Charles never paid for the land and it was reverted back to Jean on 21 December 1661. At that time the property included a house, barn and stable.
