  	Jean Sabourin made a contract with Rene Binet. Jean and his wife Mathurine Renaud, were looking for a home of their own. Binet offered them his concession at Charlesbourg for 2 consecutive years. The only condition imposed was to burn the fallen wood. There was not mention of a house, a barn, or animals. Jean would be able to keep for his own profit all the grain that he harvested. In this lease, the notary Duquet also stated that he Sabourins must fence in a half-arpent of land at the Trait Carre.

A son second mariage en 1665, il est laboureur et reside a Rompsay (17274). Il arrive en Nouvelle-France avec sa femme et leur fils Pierre, ne probablement a La Rochelle vers 1666.
