While pass through France in 1650, Louis Prudhomme learned that Michel Chauvin had already been married in France and his wife was living in poverty at Sainte-Suzanne. On 8 Oct 1650, Michel Chauvin admitted to having a wife in France. This is according to notary, Jean de Saint-Pierre. Anne and Michel already had 2 children by this time. Michel was sent back to France.
