Francois purchased 2 arpents of land from neighbor Francois Lefranc for 530 livres.

Francois sold both of his property to his son Charles. Charles was to pay 730 livres over a 4 year period, including a debt of 200 livres to Msgr de Laval.

Francois sold the western half of his land to Philippe Trudel, his son-in-law. The land consisted of 3 1/2 arpents of frontage. Trudel paid 1750 livres on 30 December 1696.

Francois sold to his son Louis the northeast half of the farm. Louis was to pay 1700 livres, on the death of Francois and Marie, to his brothers and sisters. Louis also promised to take care of his parents by providing them with 35 minots of wheat, 1 fat pig and 30 pounds of butter each year.
