    Legal Matter:
    Charles Huault de Montmagny, Governor-General of New France, gave permission to Guillaume Pepin, Guillaume Isabel, Pierre Lefebvre and Sebastien Dodier to clear the Isle du Milieu across from Trois-Rivieres. The isle was also called for a time the Ile a Pepin after the leader of the group Guillaume Pepin. The name today is Ile Saint-Christophe.

    Guillaume obtained a lot with three arpents of frontage on the right back of the Saint-Maurice river. It was nine arpent in depth with a road of fifteen toises running along the river. It was located between Jean Godefroy de Lintot and Guillaume Isabel.


    Land:
    Guillaume received a grant of land in the town of Trois-Rivieres from Governor-General Louis d'Ailleboust. It had seventeen toises of frontage located between Alexandre Raoul and the widow of Baptiste Bourgery. He had a house, barn and stable there in 1668.
    He also receive from the governor another lot consisting of twenty square toises that was located below the Fort of Trois-Rivieres.

    He was a judge for the seigneurie of Champlain.

    Legal Matter:
    Guillaume Pepin, Sieur de la Fond, verified the offical record of possession by the Jesuit Father Rene Menard, of the concession granted by Jacques de la Ferte, the abbot of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine. This was witnessed by Pierre Boucher and notary Roland Godet from Quebec.

    Guillaume aquired forty arpents square which was located between Medard Chouart des Groseillers and Quentin Moral.
