    Gaston F. St. Onge
    Fowlerville - Gaston F. St. Onge, 64, of 9510 VanBuren Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 1975 at the McPherson Health Center. He was born Oct. 12, 1910 in Sarsfield, Ontario, Canada, a son of Aldege and Azilda (Raymond) St. Onge.
    He lived in the county since 1945, moving here from Detroit. He was a retired owner and trainer of trotting horses.
    He is survived by his wife Helen; a son. Richard W. of Howell; five grandchildren, Terry, Leslie, RoseMary, Richie and Sandy; two brothers, Edward and Romey St. Onge of Detroit; and three sisters, Mrs. Fernan Bernard of Detroit, Mrs. Beatrice Pellettic of Florida and Mrs. Auroa Mercier of Arizona.
    Funeral Services were read at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, from St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Gilbert O. Rahrig as celebrant. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
    The Rosary was recited Friday, Oct. 3 at 8:30 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home.

    Richard "Papa Dick" St. Onge

    Age 71, died Thursday, September 9, 2004 in Frankfort, MI where he was visiting family. He was born Janurary 26, 1933 in Detroit, MI, the son of Gaston F. and Helen D. Dobis St. Onge. He was former owner of Papa Dick's Bistro in Williamston and retired as a journeyman tool maker for Ex-Cello Corporation (formerly A. E. Parker & Son) and Ogihara Corporation in Howell. He was a Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict, member of Howell Elks Lodge #2168, American Legion Devereaux Post #141 and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen; daughters, Terri (David Hammett) St. Onge of Howell, Lee (Roger) Mix of Frankfort, Mimi (Mike) Yenshaw of Howell; son, Rick (Dina) St. Onge of Howell & daughter Sandy St. Onge of Howell; also 7 granddaughters. He was proceded by his faithful dog, Jake. Mass of the Resurrection will be Monday 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. William Ashbaugh and Fr. Franis T. Martin (uncle), celebrants. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation Saturaday 6-8 P.M. and Sunday 1-4 & 6-8 P.M. from MacDonald's Funeral Home, Howell (517-546-2800). Memorial contributions suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fun. Envelopes at the funeral home.
