Passed away peacefully late Thursday evening (April 4, 2013) surrounded by her loving family at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake where she had been a resident for the past 3 years. She was born on January 24, 1914 in Nadeau, Michigan, a daughter of the late Alex and Lucy Nadeau Rouse. She graduated from Kingsford, MI High School in 1931 and received an R.N. Degree from Mount Sinai School of Nursing in Milwaukee in 1934. On July 5, 1941 she married Clarence J. Thiel in Milwaukee, WI. After their marriage they lived in Milwaukee, Whitefish Bay, Random Lake and Fort Myers, FL. Dolores was employed as a private nurse for 4 years and at the Milwaukee County Muirdale Sanitorium for 4 years. She was an honoree life member of Wisconsin Alumni PTA and a former member of Plymouth Women's Club. Her husband who co- founded Badger Tag & Label Company in Random Lake preceded her in death on August 13, 1988 in Fort Myers, Florida. Dolores was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Random Lake. Survivors include: two sons: Robert. J. (Jill) Thiel of Random Lake and Richard C. (Ellen) Thiel of Plymouth. Six grandchildren: John (Paula) Thiel of Thousand Oaks, CA, Ryan (Kirsten) Thiel of Sheboygan Falls, Shannon (Adam) Anderson of Eagan, MN, Aaron Thiel (Special friend: Bridget) of Bayview, Megan (Jeremy) Horn of Belgium, Mark Thiel of Milwaukee. Seven great grandchildren: Maia and Ana Thiel of Thousand Oaks, CA, Langdon and Dayton Thiel of Sheboygan Falls, Josie and Kami Horn of Belgiumand Alex Anderson of Eagan, MN. Nieces and nephews: Donald (Clarice) Rouse of Menasha, Ronald (Alice) Rouse of Wauwatosa, Corrine Birk of Hales Corners, Dr. George Schroeder (Dr. Mary Arneberg) of Plymouth, Paul (Amy) Schroeder of Fond du Lac, Carol (Roger) Boelke of Frischtad, WI, Wallace Kempen of Ontonagon, MI, Jim (Marjorie) Thiel of Random Lake, Bonnie (Jim) Andrews of Mequon and Donald (Linda) Thiel of Florida. Also survived by other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday afternoon (April 11) at 4:00 P.M. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Random Lake. Rev. Don Niederfrank, pastor of the church will officiate. Cremation has taken place and private family Inurnment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI.
